Our round up of news from the site and what's on in the Chichester area

         Newsletter 23

    1st September 2017

September is upon us.  'Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness"  It seems particularly appropriate to quote Keats today, as this week saw the unveiling by Dame Patricia Routledge of the statue of Keats by local sculptor, Vincent Gray, in Eastgate Square.

The Weald and Downland celebrate the season with a weekend focusing on the harvest with their Rural Life Weekend.  If you go there on Saturday you can also benefit from their Wellness Activities Day.

Lots of seasonal produce at the Farmers Market today and don't forget to drop into the Novium this lunchtime to hear about how their Friends organisation is evolving.

The Goodwood Revival will soon be here and in the City Centre is preparing for it with window displays for charity on the theme of the revival.  Judging will be on the 7th September.  Here is the list of participants

Also at Goodwood on the 5th there is midweek racing which offers a more relaxed way to enjoy the experience than for some of the other racedays.

Enjoy the last of the summer days on the water with a Canal Trip, or a boat trip on the Harbour on the Solar Heritage, or a sailing trip on a vintage oyster boat

Saturday night is Karaoke night at the Eastgate pub.  Why not give it a go?

However you choose to spend it - have a good week.
